Modifying Styles

At virtually any point in your work, you are free to change the formatting style assigned to a particular page element. This is true regardless of what type of style sheet you're using—and even if you are only using situational style formatting.

Don't modify a style you're likely to need again. If you want to create a variation on that style, consider creating a new style with the desired formatting; that way, you'll have both the original style and the variation to work with.
