Chapter 19. Testing Your Web > Previewing in Multiple Browsers

Previewing in Multiple Browsers

It would be nice if we all used the same Internet browser, but there are so many to choose from. How would we all agree which features we wanted, or how much we wanted to pay? It's similar to the problem the human race would encounter if we had to decide on one language we should all speak.

Because there are multiple kinds of Internet browsers, Web page designers must accommodate them. The best solution is to test your site in as many browsers as possible to eliminate the most glaring issues. When you first install FrontPage, it snoops through your computer to determine which Internet browsers are installed on it, making them available to preview your pages. Then, every time you open FrontPage, it snoops again, looking to see if you've installed any other browsers.
