Page Formatting

Certain page-formatting options should be set early in the design process. These will prepare the page for the text and images that are to come, and will save time moving things around later.

Adjusting Page Size

You have no control over the screen size and resolution of your visitors' displays, so you want to size your design to suit the largest possible audience. To set the page size, click the page-size setting in the lower-right corner of the FrontPage window (see Figure 2.11), and then choose an option from the menu that appears. Notice that the actual screen dimensions are smaller than the full display sizes to account for the chrome—that is, the amount of space taken up by the menus and toolbars and such—of the average browser. The Modify Page Sizes option allows you to specify custom page dimensions.
