Chapter 16. Creating Forms > Directing Form Results

Directing Form Results

Once your form is created and you have all the controls entered, you need to decide how to handle the results of a user clicking the Submit button. (Actually, you should decide this before you ever create the form, but now is the time to actually set it up.)

If your Web site is running on a server with FrontPage Server Extensions or SharePoint Team Services, you have several built-in options for handling form submissions. You don't ever have to write a server-side CGI or ASP page to handle your forms if you don't want to (although that is certainly also allowed).
