Making Lists

When FrontPage sees a list, it sees the text as a series of paragraphs. There are several types of lists used on the Web:

  • Bulleted— In a bulleted list, each list item appears with a symbol or bullet before the entry. This is also referred to as an unordered list because it doesn't matter what order the items appear in.

  • Numbered— In a numbered list, each list item appears with a number before the entry. This is also referred to as an ordered list because the numbering of each item implies that they follow sequentially.

  • Nested— A nested list is a list that's a mix of bulleted and numbered items, such as a list of sequential steps with various options available at each step.

  • Definition— A definition list includes a list of terms and definitions, such as entries found in a glossary or dictionary
