Part 1. Getting Started with FrontPage 2003

Part 1. Getting Started with FrontPage 2003

Like all better Web-authoring programs, FrontPage 2003 is described as a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) program, because while you're working on a Web page, the program shows you what the page will look like online. A WYSIWYG Web-authoring program enables you to create a Web page in much the same way you would create a letter, brochure, or flyer on a word processor.

Then again, a Web-authoring program is not exactly like any word processor you might already have met. So before diving into creating pages (as you'll do in Part 2, “Creating New Web Pages”), it's smart to spend a few minutes now exploring the FrontPage program. This orientation will make everything that follows it even easier.
