Changing Page Names

When you create pages using the Web Wizards, default page names are assigned to the pages in the web. Often, you want to customize these page names to suit your own needs. Unfortunately, when you click one of the premade page banners placed at the top of the page, you will find that you cannot edit the text as you would regular text on the page. The banner does not allow you to select the text or place the insertion point on the banner.

For example, if you create a new web using the Personal Web Wizard, four pages are created for you: Home Page, Interests, Photo Album, and Favorites. The wizard automatically places page banners at the top of each page (more about page banners is covered in Lesson 6, "Working with Graphics in FrontPage"). If you want to change the text in the banner, you must change the page name itself. For example, if you want to change the Interests page's banner to read Hobbies, you must change the page's name.
