Troubleshooting

Retrieving the Original Home Page

You've set a new page to be the web's home page, but now you want to return to the original configuration for the web.

When you use the Set As Home Page option in a context menu, FrontPage renames the original page index-old.html to allow the new home page to be renamed index.html. The old home pages remains in the web, however, and you can see it by choosing a view such as Hyperlinks view. From there, you can right-click on it and choose Set As Home Page, renaming it as index.html and simultaneously renaming the second home page index-old.html. The problem is that hyperlinks created on the second home page remain linked to that page, and if you want to link them to the now-current home page, you'll need to do so manually via cut and paste from one document to the other.
