Understanding FrontPage Forms

You can get just about any information you want from your visitors with FrontPage forms (assuming they're willing to give it). You can also instruct FrontPage to save the data in various HTML or text formats, allowing viewing and manipulation by various external software applications.

Every FrontPage form has the same basic structure: at least one question, one or more fields for the reader to enter information, a Submit button to send the information to the server, and a Clear (or Reset) button to remove existing entries from the fields. Also associated with the form, at the server end, is some component-generated software to process the submitted data.
