Troubleshooting

Minimizing Errors While Creating Forms

The results returned from forms under test are hard to interpret or appear to be outright wrong.

Forms can be error-prone creatures. One way to minimize problems in debugging them is to use uniquely named and easily identified labels for the various fields of the form. Another is to ensure that the parameters you specify for field verification are suitable to the information people will type into that field; also make sure that the parameter ranges (if applicable) are correctly set. Finally, ensure that the proper form handler is active for the type of form you're using.
