Discrepancies Between FrontPage and Office XP Applications

The Web pages designed with another Office XP application differ slightly from those designed with FrontPage 2002.

The integration between FrontPage 2002 and the other Office XP applications is strong, but it's not all-encompassing. Discrepancies occur when you develop Web documents using specialized features of the XP application that are not fully shared with FrontPage. For example, tables created in Word 2002 are generally compatible with FrontPage 2002, but when you use Word's advanced formulas and advanced formatting features, the table becomes in some cases too complex for FrontPage to handle properly. Complex tables produced with Excel 2002 provide even more difficulty this way.
