Chapter 15. Working with an Existing Web > Working with FrontPage's Views

Working with FrontPage's Views

Each web you work on will later open in the most recent view you've used. As you use FrontPage, you'll find yourself gaining a favorite view, one that you use most frequently, and quite likely even a different favorite view for each type of web you create. You examine the various views here, and they will reappear throughout this section of the book.

Folders View

FrontPage's Folders view isn't nearly as graphically pleasing as Navigation view or Hyperlinks view (both of which are covered later), but it provides a perspective on your site that is well suited to those of you who are used to dealing with files and folders. Folders view exists for web designers and maintainers who want to see the web as a series of individual files in various folders and work with them on that level. For many users, this is the most efficient way to work.
