Using the FP Web Object Model to Respond to Events

The Web Object Model (WOM) exposes twelve events on its Application object. These events provide notification of application-level operations. For example, the OnWebOpen event provides notification when any Web is opened into FrontPage. The event handler for each event defines a series of arguments that FrontPage passes in when the event is fired. For WOM events, this is usually a reference to the object that the event occurred on, like the Web object corresponding to the Web site that was opened, and potentially some informational arguments.

The OnBeforePageSave Event

The OnBeforePageSave event is fired when a PageWindow is saved. The event is fired when any page opened into FrontPage is saved, whether the save is a manual operation by the user or is carried out programmatically. When the OnBeforePageSave event is fired, FrontPage passes in three arguments to the event handler: pPage, SaveAsUI, and Cancel.
