Using the FrontPage Spreadsheet Components

FrontPage includes three specialized components for managing spreadsheet data on a Web page. These components are the Office spreadsheet, the Office pivot table, and the Office chart. They are all versions of various Microsoft Excel tools.

Adding a Spreadsheet Component to a Web Page

Choose Insert, Component, Office Spreadsheet when you want to add a spreadsheet component to a Web page. An Excel worksheet appears on the page, including a comprehensive Help system, which is available through the Help button on the spreadsheet toolbar. You can restrict what your users are allowed to do with the spreadsheet, but the user can both change spreadsheet data and use the tools on the spreadsheet toolbar when all permissions are set to Available.
