Inserting a Navigation Bar Without Shared Borders

You can place a navigation bar on a page without using shared borders. To do this, choose Insert, Navigation Bar. This opens the Navigation Bar Properties dialog box you saw in Figure 7.16. Specify the navigation bar properties you want and choose OK to make the bar appear on the page. The bar's appearance is determined by the theme of the page; it will be a textual navigation bar if no theme is present. Adding a navigation bar to one page does not add a navigation bar to any other page.
