Using Access 97's Web Tools with FrontPage 2000

True database integration with FrontPage webs requires the use of FrontPage's database tools, as described in Part VIII, "Accessing Database Data with FrontPage." However, if you simply need to extract information from an existing database and put it into HTML form so a web can display it, Access 97 has a Save As HTML command that helps you do this.

In the following example you use the sample Northwind database that ships with Office 97. Begin by starting Access 97 and opening this database—which, if installed during setup, will be in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Samples (or in the directory where you installed Office, if you didn't use the default). If it's not there, you have to use Office 97 Setup to locate and install it.
