Designers Corner: Tiling Graphics Between Tables and Frames

Tables are very useful for positioning graphics and in Chapter 32, "Creating Professional Web Graphics," I suggested splitting large images into several smaller ones for quicker loading. This can pose a problem if the graphics get pushed to opposite sides of the browser window.

The solution as I mentioned before is to use tables to keep the graphics together. This same technique can be used to tile a single image across two different frames. To tile graphics between table cells and frames, follow these steps:
