Chapter 47. Cross-Application Programmin... > How Do I Get Access to the FrontPage...

How Do I Get Access to the FrontPage Object Model?

All of the objects available in the FrontPage OM are available via the Application object. This is the standard method of accessing a Microsoft application's objects.

When users write macros in the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) included with FrontPage, the Application object is already created and ready to use. However, if an external application needs to use the object model, it must obtain a reference to the Application object via a different method. Applications that use Visual Basic as their automation language can use the CreateObject method to access the Application object.
