Appreciating FrontPage Web Sites

The natural FrontPage way of doing things is to first create a Web site and then put pages in it. This is often confusing at first, and for two quite logical reasons. First, FrontPage-based Web sites are rather abstract entities. Second, the need to manage and organize Web pages might not be obvious when you don’t yet have any Web pages!

Chapter 3, “Managing Web Sites,” described a variety of features that FrontPage can provide only by treating your files and folders as a group (that is, as a FrontPage-based Web site). In all, the features FrontPage offer for a Web site fall into these general categories:
