Chapter 35. Processing Data Submitted from Forms > Setting HTML Form Properties

Setting HTML Form Properties

An HTML form is only a data-entry template and does no processing on its own. To process or save data entered on HTML forms, you’ll need to follow one of these approaches:

  • Correctly invoke features of the FrontPage Server Extensions or SharePoint Team Services.

  • Write ASP or Microsoft ASP.NET pages to process the data exactly as you want.

  • Obtain server-side programs or scripts from another vendor and correctly invoke them.

  • Arrange for custom script or custom server-side programming.
