Using Site Parameters and the Substitution Component

Site Parameters are commonly occurring character strings you can establish centrally and then reference by name throughout a Web site. Like included page segments, site parameters provide uniformity and eliminate redundant maintenance. If the value of a site parameter changes, you need to update it in only one place.
