The CSS specification provides great flexibility in the way you specify heights, widths, distances, and colors. This section explains all the available options.

Specifying Style Sheet Measurements

The values of many CSS properties involve measurements: the height of the characters, the width of a paragraph, the thickness of a border, or whatever. The format for specifying these measurements consists of a number followed by a unit of measure, with no intervening spaces. Table 21-12 lists the valid units of measure.
