Creating and Modifying Web Part Pages

Every site on a Web server extended with Windows SharePoint Services has access to several libraries of Web Parts. Most of these Web Parts are highly configurable, and in total, they provide great power, elegance, and utility. Creating Web Part Pages

Any page can contain a Web Part, but it takes a special kind of page to contain two or more Web Parts—it takes a Web Part Page. The most direct way to create a Web Part Page is to use a page template. Here’s the basic procedure:
