Scripting DHTML Behaviors

The W3C DHTML specification mentioned in the preceding sections describes a wide selection of changes that you can make to a Web page already on display—Interactive Button components and the DHTML Effects toolbar only scratch the surface. Full use of DHTML requires in-depth programming skills, but FrontPage 2003 provides a new Behaviors task pane that handles most requirements without making you look at programming code at all. Figure 26-8 shows an example of this task pane.
