Using Page Banners

The Page Banner component performs a single function requiring very little configuration: It displays a page’s Navigation view title.

Using the Page Banner component has two advantages compared to just typing a heading into your Web page. First, it ensures that a page’s visual heading contains exactly the same text as all link bar references to that page. This occurs because FrontPage bases both page banner text and link bar text on the same source: the page’s Navigation view title. Second, if your page uses themes, FrontPage can superimpose the page banner text over the theme’s designated banner picture.
