Controlling Web Site Security Through FrontPage

Security is a constant concern on the Internet. Most Web sites allow any and all visitors to view Web pages but restrict editing and administration to a few authorized individuals.

FrontPage-based Web sites depend largely on the Web server’s security functions for control. Security commands issued within FrontPage communicate with FrontPage software on the server and instruct it to implement the required settings. Working though FrontPage isolates Web designers from many of the security differences among Web servers.
