Creating and Using Hotspots

Hotspots provide another form of hyperlinking—one that assigns different URLs to different parts of a picture. Another name for hotspots is image map areas. The most common uses for hotspots are in menu bars and maps; however, you can use hotspots for any application that requires jumping to different locations depending on which part of a picture the Web visitor clicks. Here’s how to add hotspots to a picture in FrontPage:
