Chapter 16. Creating a Web Page > Creating a Site in GoLive

Creating a Site in GoLive

Let's start this project by creating a new site in GoLive. As you learned in Chapter 9, “Using Adobe GoLive CS2,” having a site window to work with in GoLive is critical. Launch GoLive CS2 and dismiss the Welcome screen if it appears. Ordinarily, you would create a new site by using the New Document command, but because you already have a Version Cue project that exists, you can connect to your project directly and have a site created for you automatically. Choose File, Connect to Version Cue, and you'll be presented with a dialog box that lists your current projects (see Figure 16.1). Select the Sunflowers project and click OK. GoLive then creates a site file for your project.
