Making Some Changes

Just when you're thinking that you have some time to actually grab some lunch, you get an email from your manager or client saying that the numbers have changed for the graph. So much for your lunch plans, right? Maybe not.

Suppose that the email says you need to change the values of the graph to 15, 35, 20, and 30. The first thing you'll do is open the Presentation file in InDesign. Then select the placed graph and, from the Links palette, click on the Edit Original button (see Figure 17.22). This action launches Illustrator (if it isn't already open) and automatically opens the graph file for you.
