Q&A

Q1:FrontPage saves form data to a .csv file, but Yahoo! GeoCities won't let me publish it. How can I fix this?
A1: GeoCities and some other hosting providers limit the file extensions that can be used on their server for security reasons. In the Form Properties dialog box, change the file extension from .csv to .txt.

A CSV file is a text file containing data that is separated by commas. Using .txt as the extension instead of .csv does not change the contents of the file in any way.

Q2:On each of these form elements, what does the Tab Order do?
A2: When a form is being filled out, pressing the Tab key skips to the next form element, and pressing Shift+Tab key skips to the previous one. The form's tab order determines where to go in response to these keys. By default, the browser uses the top-to-bottom order of elements on the page for this purpose.

When you want to set up a different order, values can be entered in the Tab Order field of each element on the form. Give the first element the number 1, the second 2, and so on, all the way to the final element on the page.
