Although more than 90% of Web users employ popular Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, and Mozilla, many other kinds of software can present a public Web site. There are text-only browsers such as Lynx, nonvisual browsers for differently abled people, Internet-enabled cell phones, and alternative browsers such as Opera and Safari.
Coping with this varied audience is made easier through a Web technology called Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
