Q&A

Q1:Is there a way to rename a database connection? The default new_page_1 isn't very descriptive of what the connection is used for.
A1: You can't change the name, but it's relatively easy to create a new database connection to replace it.

When a new Access database is created from a form page, FrontPage 2003 uses the filename of the page to name the connection. Because the filename of a new page is called something like new_page_1.htm when you create it, the connection ends up with a name like new_page_1.

To prevent this from happening, give the page a better name before you use it to create a new database.
