Lesson 13. Drawing Objects in Publisher > Drawing with Microsoft Draw

Drawing with Microsoft Draw

You can also choose to draw your own images using Microsoft Draw. Microsoft Draw is an add-on application that comes with Publisher 2000 and Microsoft Office 2000. It provides an assortment of drawing tools that you can use to create your own images.

The tools available operate a great deal like the Line, Oval, and Rectangle tools on the Publisher toolbar. The difference between the Publisher drawing tools and Microsoft Draw is that the Publisher drawing tools create individual objects, whereas your Microsoft Draw image (made up of a number of drawn elements) is treated as a single object. Table 13.2 shows and describes a number of the tools available.
