Lesson 10. Changing How Text Looks > Connecting Text Frames

Connecting Text Frames

You might want to place a large amount of text on one publication page, but not in just one text frame (a lot of text stuck in one frame can be overwhelming to the eye and diminish your message). Instead, you can break up the text into more "bite-sized" pieces of information by making the text flow between several text frames as a story. The amount of text in each frame is then determined by the frame size. A story can be placed in several text frames on one page, or the story can flow to text frames that are on different pages of the same publication.

Plain English
