Lesson 9. Submitting Work for Review > Last minute touch-up in Acrobat

Last minute touch-up in Acrobat

After incorporating all the comments and finalizing the CD cover design, the document can be sent as a PDF file to an output service provider for printing. This time, the images should not be downsampled when exporting the file as PDF, but the [Press Quality] preset should be used. To see how the Touch-up Text tool works, simply use the file CD Cover HIGHRES.pdf provided in the Lesson09 folder for the following steps.

Once the printer receives the PDF file, he'll simply be able to open the file in Acrobat, and print it. You can tell your client that the file is now with the printer, and that you're going on vacation. The end? Alas, no. Apparently your client now needs one more little change. Unfortunately, you're away at the beach, and the printer has neither the original InDesign file, nor the Photoshop file, only the PDF file. Luckily, Acrobat allows some editing directly in the PDF file.
