Working with Headers and Footers

Tables with lots of data often flow from one location to another. For easy navigation, you can repeat the first and last rows of the table each time it appears in a new place. When the first row of a table repeats, it is called a header. When the last row repeats, it is called a footer. You can create headers and footers when you first define a table (see page 311) or add or modify them in an existing table.

To add a header or footer to a table:
