Editing Path Type

You can use the Selection or Direct Selection tools to drag the path type handles, manipulating the position of the type along the path. (Be careful not to click the in port or out port.) You can also drag the center handle to finesse the positioning.

Threading Text

If not all your text fits on the path type frame, it gets overset. However, because path type has in and out ports, you can continue the text flow using InDesign’s threading methods to create connections from one path to another, or between paths and regular text frames. Just use the Selection tool to click the in and out ports using the techniques we describe in Chapter 20.
