Flipping

In InDesign, you can flip an object with or without its content with commands on the Transform or Control palette menu: Flip Horizontal (which flips objects left-to-right, across the Y axis), Flip Vertical (which flips the object top-to-bottom, across the X axis), or Flip Both (to flip the object across both axes).

You can also flip objects with the Selection tool by dragging one of the object’s bounding box handles across the object past the opposite side. In all cases, InDesign flips the object based on the point of transformation (usually based on the palette’s proxy).
