Applying Master Pages to Document Pages

To apply a master page to a document page you can drag the master page on top of a document page icon or the page numbers below the icons in the Pages palette. Additionally, you can select one or more document pages (remember you can Command/Ctrl-click to select discontiguous pages) and then Option/Alt-click on the master page you want to apply.

There’s one other way to apply a master page to one or more document pages: Select Apply Master to Pages from the Pages palette menu. InDesign lets you select a master to apply and a page range. For instance, you could apply B-Master to pages “2, 4-5, 11-16, 22”.
