Paths or clipping paths that you have saved within images in the TIFF, PSD or JPEG formats and imported into InDesign can be used to silhouette images. (Clipping paths in EPS files are always used.) You can apply a clipping path by selecting an image with the Selection or Direct Selection tool and choosing Clipping Path from the Object menu (or press Command-Option-Shift-K/Ctrl-Alt-Shift-K). Then, in the Clipping Path dialog box, select Photoshop Path from the Type popup menu. If there’s more than one path embedded, choose which one you want to use (see Figure 31-1).
