Transparency

If this were an introductory logic class, rather than a somewhat illogical computer book, we could present the following syllogism: PostScript’s basic drawing model does not allow for transparency; InDesign is a PostScript-oriented page layout program. Therefore, it follows that you cannot have transparent objects in InDesign. Right?
