Bounding Boxes and Anchor Points

InDesign is engineered from the ground up to allow shape editing. The appearance of a selected frame changes depending on the tool you are working with. When the Selection tool is active, a selected path or frame shows eight bounding box handles, just like in XPress (one on each corner, one on each side; see Figure 11-2). A solid, non-printing center point also appears which is handy for selecting objects that have no content.
