Assigning a profile after importing an image

When you import images that were saved without embedded profiles into InDesign, InDesign applies its default source profile to the image. If an imported image was not created in the default color space, you should assign the profile that describes the image's original color space.

InDesign applies its default source profile to any bitmap image without embedded profiles.
