Starting and Quitting FrontPage

To launch FrontPage

1.
Click the Start button in the Windows taskbar, and if you installed FrontPage as part of Office XP, point your cursor to Programs, then Office, and click the Microsoft FrontPage icon (top right, Figure 2.2). If you installed FrontPage as a stand-alone program, click Start, point your cursor to Programs, and click the Microsoft FrontPage icon (bottom left, Figure 2.2).

Once FrontPage launches, you’ll be presented with a blank main window (Figure 2.3), at which point you can create a new page or Web site, or open an existing page or Web site.

To quit FrontPage

  • After saving your work choose File > Exit (Figure 2.4).
