Editing Images

For major image editing, it’s best to use a dedicated graphics program, but FrontPage’s Pictures toolbar can easily handle a lot of basic editing (Figure 7.1). Remember that when using FrontPage to edit images all changes are applied to the actual image. To be safe, always keep a duplicate of the original stored outside your Web site. The Restore button, explained below, also will become one of your best friends.

To undo image editing

  • Select the image, then click the Restore button in the Pictures toolbar (Figure 7.35). The image will revert to the last saved version.
