Chapter 8. Adding and Editing Drawings > Using the Drawing Canvas

Using the Drawing Canvas

When adding drawings to a Web page, you can draw them directly on the page or create what FrontPage calls a drawing canvas. The canvas has several advantages over drawing individual figures directly on a Web page: you can move a canvas in a single step, instead of having to individually select all the drawings before moving them. You can easily resize the canvas and even rescale it—right along with all the drawn objects it contains. The Drawing Canvas toolbar, naturally enough, contains all the commands you need for working with the canvas (Figure 8.64).

Figure 8.64. The Drawing Canvas toolbar lets you resize the canvas, which can contain more complex drawings.
