Chapter 12. OUTPUT > Resizing to Fit Paper Sizes

Resizing to Fit Paper Sizes

You may want to scale a page to fit a certain printer paper size. Rather than change the actual size of the document, you can use the Scale and Fit options.

To set the Scale and Fit options:

1.
Choose File > Print.

2.
Click the Scale and Fit tab (Win) or choose Scale and Fit from the pop-up list (Mac) . This opens the Scale and Fit section of the Print dialog box.

Figure 12.18. Click the tab to display the Scale and Fit controls (Win).

Figure 12.19. Use the pop-up list to display the Scale and Fit controls (Mac).

3.
Use the Scale controls to reduce or enlarge the page when printed.

4.
Check Scale to Fit to automatically reduce or enlarge the page to fit the paper chosen in the Paper Properties dialog box (see page 224).

5.
Check Center Page in Image able Area to print the document page in the center of the paper.
