Chapter 13. EXPORT

Today there are many more options for publishing than just printed documents. After you finish your InDesign document, you may want to use it somewhere else.

For instance, you might want clients to read your document electronically—even if they don't have the InDesign application. Or you might want to take a design that you have created within InDesign and use it as part of a layout in another program. Or you may want to convert your InDesign document into Web pages.

When you convert InDesign documents into other formats, you use the export features of the program. Export refers to converting InDesign documents into other formats such as portable document format (PDF) files or Web hypertext markup language (HTML) pages.
