Chapter 14. CUSTOMIZING INDESIGN >  Configuring Plug-ins

Configuring Plug-ins

InDesign uses a large set of plug-ins as its core set of commands and features. You can also get plug-ins from other companies that add other features to the program. If you have many plug-ins, you may want to control which plug-ins are installed each time you launch the program. This allows you to have sets that require less system memory or avoid plug-in conflicts.

To select the plug-ins set:

1.
(Mac)Choose Configure Plug-ins from the Apple Menu. This opens the Configure Plug-ins dialog box .

Figure 14.17. The Configure Plug-ins dialog box lets you create sets of plug-ins that you can turn on and off as a group.

(Win) Choose Configure Plug-ins from the Help menu.

2.
Choose a set from the Set pop-up list.
