To edit a style sheet:

1.
Open the Style Sheets palette, click in a text box to activate it, right-click a style sheet name on the palette, then click Edit.

Choose Edit menu > Style Sheets (Shift-F11), click the name of the style sheet you want to edit, then click Edit . To narrow the number of style sheets on the list, choose a category from the Show drop-down menu.

Right-click the name of a paragraph style sheet on the Style Sheets palette and choose Edit [style sheet name] to go directly to the General folder tab of the Edit Style Sheet dialog box. Or do the same for a character style sheet to go directly to Edit Character Style Sheet dialog box .

For a paragraph style sheet, use the General folder tab to rename the style sheet, assign or change its Keyboard Equivalent, or assign a Next Style. To modify character attributes (i.e., font, color), click Edit in the General folder tab. To modify paragraph formats, click the Formats folder tab. To add, delete, or modify tabs, click the Tabs folder tab. To add, delete, or edit a rule, click the Rules folder tab (, next page).

For a character style sheet, modify character attributes in the Edit Character Style Sheet dialog box. (, next page).

3.
Click OK or press Enter to exit the Formats, Rules, or Tabs folder tab (click OK or press Enter twice if you're in the Character Attributes dialog box), then click Save. If you got to the Edit Style Sheet dialog box via the right-click shortcut, just click OK once to exit that dialog box.

Text to which the style sheet was previously applied will reformat instantly.
